The powerful Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance's pricing information has just been released for Japan. Customers will be able to purchase a unique IS 500 F Sport Performance First Edition, according to Lexus.
The First Edition vehicle is distinguished from the regular car by a variety of distinctive features. The IS 500 F Sport Performance includes a distinctive plaque identifying it as an "IS 500 First Edition," 19-inch forged aluminum BBS wheels in matte black finish, black wing mirrors, a hardwood ash design across some inside surfaces, leather steering wheel, and Ultrasuede materials.
A 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine under the hood produces 475 horsepower and 535 Nm of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission mated to this engine transmits power to the rear wheels via a Torsen limited-slip differential. Stronger brakes with discs that measure 356 mm up front and 323 mm down back give stopping force.
Performance dampers from Lexus' adaptive variable suspension (AVS) are installed in the vehicle.
Customers will be chosen by a lottery system, and only 500 samples will be made. The starting price in your area for the limited-edition S 500 F Sport Performance model is $65,820.
