The Mazda2 receives a subtle facelift in 2024, receiving revised front and back fascias and two new colors. The new fascia, which includes an updated grille that can be finished in either black or the same color as the rest of the exterior, marks the beginning of the improvements to the front end. A revised rear bumper has also been added to all hatchback variants and the Mazda2 GT Sedan, though you might need a magnifying glass to see the modifications. Additionally, the redesigned bumper has a tiny colored accent to match the front grille. A shark fin antenna has been added by Mazda to improve the appearance of all models, excluding the Pure.
For the Pure and Pure SP variants, three new colored trim pieces are available in Pure White, Mirror Black, or Mint.
The inside of the Evolve and GT models is all-black with red accents on the seat backs and air vent covers. The Mazda2 GT also has multi-spoke wheels with an aerodynamic design, polished twin exhaust tips, red and black interior trim, and half-leather seats.
For the 2024 model year, Mazda has also unveiled two new paint colors, the first of which is Aero Grey Metallic and the second is Airstream Blue Metallic.
