Finally available is the powerful McLaren 720S's replacement. The 750S improves and tweaks several features of its predecessor, with about 30% of the supercar's parts being new or altered. The impressive foundations of the vehicle it succeeds in are improved upon by the new 750S. The end result is a supercar that is lighter, more powerful, and more exciting. The coupe and hardtop convertible body types were both made public by the automaker.

The 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine is still used. The automobile still has hydraulic suspension and a carbon fiber monocoque. It generates 800 Nm of torque and 740 horsepower. Power is sent to the rear wheels using an upgraded seven-speed sequential gearbox with a smaller final drive ratio.

The most recent PCC III suspension has lighter components and better geometry. The 750S also has a power-assisted pump and a faster steering ratio. With all of this, McLaren asserts that 30% of the 750S is made up of new or modified components.

The variant sports improved suspension geometry and a 6 mm wider front track. It comes equipped with McLaren's third generation of Proactive Chassis Control, which includes front springs that are 3% softer and rear springs that are 4% firmer.

A lighter center-exit exhaust system that has been fiddled with to increase acoustics is another chance to go along with the powertrain.

With a 0-96 km/h duration of 2.7 seconds, the 750S is said to be slightly faster than its predecessor. This is made possible by a reduced final drive ratio. You can see 200 km/h in 7.2 seconds and 300 km/h in 19.8 seconds if you keep your foot firmly planted.

The 750S coup weighs 3,062 lbs, which is 66 lbs less than the 720S because of all the weight savings. Only 108 pounds weigh more on the Spider. It has a retractable hardtop but doesn't suffer too much because the carbon tub is sufficiently robust to not need additional bracing. The Spider weighs 3,170 lbs. with fluids and 2,923 lbs. dry weight.

Both aesthetic and aerodynamic improvements are included in the 750S. A new, bigger dynamic rear wing boosts downforce when traveling at high speeds and functions as a DRS system inspired by Formula One to lessen drag when accelerating. The 750S doors have channels that improve their overall aerodynamics and cooling capacity.

There are numerous potential options for the 750S when it goes on sale. Along with enhanced visuals and greater touch sensitivity for the center panel, Apple CarPlay is included as standard equipment. A track brake modification that is based on the Senna's system includes bigger ceramic rotors, monoblock calipers, a new booster and vacuum pump, and caliper cooling technology that takes inspiration from Formula 1.

Although the corporation didn't provide a release date, it did provide the pricing. The 750S Coupe starts at $324,000 (prices do not include the $2,240 Americas Accessory Pack or the $5,000 shipment and port processing fees). Starting out, the 750S Spider costs $345,000.
