Mini offers a new Multitone roof with a gradient three-color look as an option for the three- and five-door Hardtop and Clubman models. For the Mini Cooper SE EV, this configuration is already available.
Since the first Mini, the provision of a contrasting roof has been a standard feature. The Multitone roof is an extension of that, employing a wet-on-wet painting technique to produce a dynamic color gradient that varies in shadow from the rear to the front of the car. The multitone roof goes from San Marino Blue at the front to Pearly Aqua in the center, and lastly Jet Black at the back.
Buyers may choose virtually any of the available colors for the remainder of the vehicle with the Multitone roof. The Mini Hardtop cannot be ordered in Chili Red or British Racing Green metallic, while the Clubman cannot be ordered in Indian Summer Red metallic.
With the optional panoramic glass roof and roof rails, the Multitone appearance is possible.
