Mazda decided to give more features to its flagship SUV in the U.S market the Mazda CX-9. Also Mazda CX-9 buyers can order their cars in the Carbon Edition model.
While the previous-generation Mazda CX-9 used to have a 3.5-liter V6 engine but the new model uses a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Skyactiv-G engine with 227 hp and 420 nm of torque. These figures are reached with a regular 87 octane fuel, but if you use 93 octane fuel, then the engine can produce 250 hp and 440 nm of torque.
Besides the new turbo engine, Mazda CX-5 now comes standard with 10.25-inch center screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, in-car Wi-Fi hotspot and Carbon Edition visual package.
With a base price of $33,960 the Sport trim offers 6-speed Skyactiv-Drive transmission, G-Vectoring Control Plus system, i-Activ AWD system, and i-Activsense safety package. The safety package include Radar Cruise Control, Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning with Lane-Keep Assist, Advanced Smart City Brake Support and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
