As the tests of the next generation of BMW 7 Series are coming to its end, we could see more photos of this vehicle. Although it’s still wrapped, we could guess what we are dealing with. Starting with the grille, no uglier big front grille!
By the new spied picture of the next-gen 7 Series, we could expect a luxury sedan, just like Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The camouflage is less now, now it’s easier to see the differences. The overall shape, and also front look are changed. Although models M3 and M4 had big grilles, this one here has a moderate one which comes with the whole design. The headlights should be new LED DRLs. This vehicle just followers the feet steps of the trend and uses double-light styling with the new hood and fenders.
It’s a bit harder to judge the other changes, but it seems the taillamps are thinner and the license plate holder was moved from the trunk lid to the bumper. The parking sensor is just right above it. the reflectors are vertical and no more tailpipes are incorporated into the diffuser in one of the scooped prototypes.
It’s not a big shock to see the Hybrid Test Vehicle sticker on it. Yes! For sure it’s a Hybrid one. The charging port is on the left front fender. The power unit could be the usual inline-six or V8 engine. The battery version of this car could be a 120 kWh i7 for a 700-km travel range.
Soon we would like to see this BMW without camouflage. Then we could see if this luxury sedan could compete with the available ones or not. By the way, it’s BMW, BMW will win the battle.
