The Bangkok Car Show is currently taking place, and numerous automakers are attempting to showcase their most recent innovations to Thai consumers. Peugeot has also chosen to increase its presence in this area of the world and has arrived in Bangkok with a modified Peugeot 2008.
The customized Peugeot 2008 model on display at the Bangkok exhibition is painted in two shades of light green and gray, which together create a striking and intriguing contrast. The fenders, which have increased the body's volume, are another change that is visible. Due to the usage of a bespoke bumper with extra air inlets and outlets, the car's body is also broader than the standard one.
Linear LED lights that run parallel to the bumper are a part of Peugeot's new design language. This is seen in the modified Peugeot 2008. The brake discs of the car have also been painted to resemble rally cars. To complement the model's bespoke fenders, Peugeot has created new rear doors for the vehicle. A sizable diffuser with dual exhaust outlets can be seen at the back.
Thailand will soon be able to purchase the Peugeot 2008, which is now on sale in Malaysia. In Malaysia, this vehicle is offered with a 1.2-liter petrol turbocharged engine that generates 130 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. The Peugeot 2008's front differential receives power from the Aisin six-speed gearbox as well.
