Sales of the new Chevrolet Aveo will start in the first half of 2023 and will be available in Mexico for the 2024 model year.
The Aveo is currently offered in Mexico as a four-door sedan, while the new model is only available as a five-door hatchback. The next-generation vehicle has a more angular style that gives it a more contemporary look. The headlamps have smaller, more angular shapes. The tail appears sharper because the beltline kinks upward in the back. A fake diffuser is present at the back.
Chevy has yet to explain the specifications of the possible trim options or reveal interior images of the 2024 Aveo. The new Aveo includes six airbags for protection, and both front and back passengers can receive seatbelt alerts.
Chevy hasn't yet talked about the model's powertrain, which is another element. The current Aveo in Mexico has a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 107 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque. It is coupled to either a four-speed automatic transmission or a five-speed manual transmission.
The starting price for the present model is $13,965, although we may anticipate a slight price increase for the new model.
