Lamborghini revealed earlier this week that the Countach brand is back, teasing the elegant supercar by putting it behind a sheet. The manufacturer has released three fresh teaser photos on Instagram, giving us our first look at what to anticipate from the car's appearance.
The latest teasers show off a lot without disclosing too much about the vehicle. The sharp-nosed front end is shown in one photograph, along with the lowercase Countach logo on the thin grille.
The second teaser photograph lets us to see the gold-accented V12 engine within the engine compartment. It is unknown whether Lamborghini will couple the engine with electric assistance. The final shot shows the engine air inlet behind the passenger compartment, which is the most Countach-like design element we've seen thus yet. The square-ish form of the intake resembles that of the original supercar.
Lamborghini has not yet confirmed a date for the unveiling of the new Countach. However, the 2021 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, which takes place this month, would be an ideal location for the unveiling of such a supercar. In any case, we're hoping we won't have to wait too long.
