For the first time, ford revealed its Super Duty pickup in 2017. Till now this big car, has updated several times. And for the 2022 this company has more plans for this pickup. This time blue oval has focused on more technology.
What has this company done on its pickup, is about more new techs inside the vehicle. As it’s promised the optional 12-inch infotainment touchscreen is used on this vehicle. More over SYNC 4 supports the screen. It is the technology which was introduced by ford in 2019. SYNC 4 has the computing processors twice powerful than the SYNC 3. Also, it provides the opportunity to feature different layouts and capabilities depending on the model.
The SYNC 4 brings the wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, eliminating the need to connect a device via USB. The new infotainment display sits above a bank of physical controls for commonly used vehicle functions, on Lariat models and above. The vice control of this system with the 4.2-inch screen is on the vehicle as the standard option. The XLT trim truck gets the 8.0-inch screen paired with SYNC 3 as standard equipment.
The engine of this truck is a 7.3-liter V8, just like the 2020 model. That means a output of 430 hp and 664 Nm of torque. Also, for the diesel option of this truck, the 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel offers 475 horse power and 1,423 Nm.
This upgraded truck comes to market this summer with the Lariat Sport Appearance Package and later in fall, the Black Appearance Package would be added.
