Nissan revealed a new version of the current generation Qashqai called the Midnight Edition and it is available from AU$35,900 in Australia which is equal to US$25,453.

Buyers can order their Nissan Qashqai Midnight Edition in Gun Metallic, Magnetic Red, Ivory Pearl, Vivid Blue, and Pearl Black.

Features

Nissan Qashqai Midnight Edition features a black grille, black rear bumper blades, black side mirror caps, black roof rails, darkened LED headlights and taillights, a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels finished in black and body-colored wheel arch moldings.

Stepping inside the cabin and the Midnight Edition benefits brushed black accents on the cards and dashboard, a black headliner, glossy black air vents, black leather accents on the steering wheel, and gearshift lever, and Alcantara (and leather) wrapped seats. Other highlights inside the cabin are a 7-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB+ digital radio, bluetooth, and satellite navigation system with traffic monitoring.

On the safety side, Nissan Qashqai Midnights Edition comes standard with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Intelligent Driver Alert, Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Emergency Braking, and Lane Departure Warning.

Under the hood there is no difference between the Midnight Edition and normal versions of the Qashqai and the car uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine connected to an Xtronic CVT automatic transmission.
