Inside the Bespoke Rolls-Royce Phantom Dentelle

Author: |

Owning a Rolls-Royce Phantom is far more than simply possessing a luxury vehicle—it’s about immersing oneself in unparalleled craftsmanship and commanding presence at the highest echelon of automotive excellence. Whether it’s a classic vintage model or a 2003 edition marking BMW’s reintroduction of the Phantom line, this car represents sophistication and opulence unmatched by any other automobile on the market. Yet, for some discerning buyers, even this extraordinary level of exclusivity is not sufficient. These individuals seek a Phantom that goes beyond refined taste to become a genuine expression of their personal identity. This desire for individuality is precisely what sets apart the truly unique Rolls-Royce Phantom Dentelle.

Rolls-Royce Phantom

Commissioned through Rolls-Royce’s prestigious Private Office in Dubai as a gift from a client to his father, this bespoke Phantom draws inspiration from an unexpected yet elegant source: couture lace. While the car’s exterior retains the hallmark elegance and subtlety expected of Rolls-Royce, it is the interior that truly transforms this vehicle into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. The dashboard, for instance, features an exclusive embroidered panel showcasing an intricate floral design crafted from three different shades and types of thread. Though the panel appears relatively small, it is composed of more than 160,000 individual stitches, reflecting an astonishing level of detail and artistry.

This floral embroidery motif continues within the rear cabin, where the ‘Waterfall’ section situated between the back seats displays a similarly exquisite stitched pattern containing roughly 70,000 stitches. These delicate handcrafted details are complemented by luxurious accents such as Rose Gold speaker grilles, elegant Piano White veneer, and sumptuous leathers in shades known as Sunrise and Grace White, creating a harmonious and refined interior atmosphere.

The Phantom’s exterior design remains understated yet commanding, perfectly embodying the Rolls-Royce ethos. The lower body is finished in Crystal layered over Arctic White, while the upper portion features Crystal over Palais Nemasker Dawn. One of the car’s standout visual features is its 22-inch polished disc-style wheels, accented with Arctic White center pinstripes and body-colored centers. Adding to the car’s luxurious details, both the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament and the imposing Pantheon grille are finished in Rose Gold, further elevating the Phantom’s distinguished appearance.

Michelle Lusby of Rolls-Royce’s Private Office in Dubai offered insight into the inspiration behind this remarkable creation, stating, “We always say that inspiration for a motor car commission can be found anywhere, and after more than two decades, our clients constantly prove how true this is. This stunning Phantom Dentelle, commissioned through Private Office Dubai, is an homage to the exquisite handmade lace used in some of the world’s leading haute couture ateliers.” For those fortunate enough to seek such an exceptional, tailor-made Phantom, a visit to one of Rolls-Royce’s Private Office locations in the UK, Dubai, Shanghai, New York City, or Seoul is the first step toward bringing such a dream to life.
