Lexus has announced pricing for the 2021 IS model for the Australian market. Pricing for the base model Lexus IS starts from AU$61,500 which is equal to US$44,077.
Lexus will sell the IS in five different trims called the IS 300 Luxury, IS 300 F Sport, IS 300h Luxury, IS 300h F Sport, and IS 350 F Sport.
Standard features for the 2021 Lexus IS include LED headlights with auto high-beam, 18-inch wheels, al-zone climate control system, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a 10.3-inch infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, sat-nav and DAB+ radio as standard.
On the safety side, 2021 IS comes standard with emergency steering assist, intersection turning assist, automated collision notification, active cruise control, lane tracing assist, SOS call and stolen vehicle tracking, road sign assist, pre-collision with pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert+brake.
Under the hood, the IS 300 Luxury comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 241 hp mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. There is a hybrid model available as well as an IS 300h with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that pumps out 220 hp. Buyers also can opt for the most powerful variant, the IS 350 with a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine with 311 hp.
The most expensive variant is available for AU$75k and it comes with more features like 19-inch alloy wheels, sport body kit, high-grade LED headlamps, a five-mode drive selector, leather interior, sports seats with ventilation, an 8-inch TFT driver display and adaptive variable suspension.
Other options include a moonroof, premium Mark Levinson sound system, power rear sunshade, 19-inch alloys, high-grade LED headlamps, leather upholstery, and ventilated front seats.
