Toyota unveiled the new Toyota Camry Hybrid earlier this year and now it is available with the starting price of $28,265 for the 2021 model year. Pricing for the Camry XLE trim starts at $29,780 and for the new Camry XSE trim, it starts at $33,715. As the number shows, the base price for the SE trim dropped by $1,345 compared to the current model.
The hybrid unit under the hood combines the 2.5-liter four-cylinder ICE engine and two electric motors with a total output of 205 hp. The hybrid powertrain is connected to an eCVT transmission transferring the power to the front axle.
On the safety side, the 2021 Toyota Camry Hybrid comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ package that includes a pre-collision system, daylight cyclist and lowlight pedestrian detection, intersection support, emergency steering assist, rear-seat reminder, and adaptive cruise control.
The 2021 Toyota Camry is also available with a non-hybrid 2.5-liter and 3.5-liter V6 powertrains.
