Toyota officially introduced a 2021 Camry XSE Hybrid with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ as standard. The new safety package includes automatic emergency braking system, Pre-Collision system, pedestrian detection system, radar cruise control, steering assist, lane departure alert, lane tracing assist, automatic high beams, road sign assist, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitor system and rear seat reminder.
On the TRD variant there are also Blind Spot Monitor system and Rear Cross Traffic Alert as option. 2021 Toyota Camry XSE Hybrid features a revised front facia, 7 or 9-inch screen on the dash and 18-inch redesigned wheels.
The TRD models uses a 3.5-liter V6 engine under the hood with 301 hp mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. the TRD model features some sporty options like red-stitched TRD headrests, leather wrapped steering wheel and red seat belts.
The base 2021 Toyota Camry uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 203 hp and 250 NM of torque. On the XSE trim, the same engine an pump out 206 hp and 255 NM of torque.
Another engine option is a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 301 hp and 362 NM of torque. Mated to an automatic transmission.
Buyers who want to travel more miles on tank can go for the hybrid engine. The hybrid unit is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to an electric motor. The total output for hybrid unit is 208 hp.
