The Lexus NX 450+ is a new PHEV variant for the second-generation Lexus NX. The NX 450h+ is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that utilizes the same 2.5-liter gasoline engine as the NX 350h but has a combined system output of 302 horsepower. The 450h+ can reach 97 kph in 6.0 seconds and has a pure EV range of about 58 kilometers.
The NX 350, on the other hand, is powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine that produces 275 horsepower and 430 Newton-meters of torque.
Lexus recently released a video of the NX 450+ on a track. Taking a crossover with a hybrid powertrain to a racing track is not what you see normally so we recommend seeing this video if you are a fan of NX.
Aside from the video, the Lexus NX now comes with four engine options. The basic NX 250 is powered by a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-banger producing 203 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.
