Maserati has announced a new line of MC Editions for its V8-powered range of vehicles, including the Ghibli, Levant, and Quattroporte. MC stands for Maserati Corse, which celebrates Maserati's racing background. Piano Black exterior elements and a distinctive logo on the fenders and B-pillars distinguish the MC Edition series. The Levante SUV has 22-inch wheels, while the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans get 21-inch wheels, all finished in gloss black with blue-painted brake calipers.
Giallo Corse and Blue Vittoria are two unique hues available to buyers. Blu Vittoria is a three-layer blue with a matte finish, whereas Giallo Corse is a three-layer yellow.
Blue carbon fiber trim is found within the cabin, along with yellow and blue stitching over Nero Pienofiore black leather with denim accents. The MC Edition emblem is imprinted in the colors of the Italian flag on the headrests, and a similar plaque is placed on the center console. The electric sunroof, a Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and the Driver Assistance package are all standard features.
The twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine with 580 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque is solely connected to an eight-speed automated transmission under the hood of the vehicles.
Customers in China, however, will receive the smaller twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 with 345 horsepower instead of the V8.
