The most recent luxury minivan, the LDV Mifa 9, has debuted in Australia. The LDV Mifa 9 has a strong focus on luxury because it is positioned in the upper echelons of the people-mover market.
The Executive or Luxe model comes with power-sliding side doors for purchasers. Additionally, captain's chairs with heating, cooling, massage, and reclining features are included in the premium Luxe variant. The Mifa 9's multi-zone climate control, seven USB ports, a 220V power outlet, a sliding third row of seats, and the choice of either 6, 8 or 12-speaker sound systems are some of its other standout features.
A 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wired Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, and a multi-function leather and heated steering wheel are also included in the Mifa 9's sleek and minimalist dashboard. A wireless mobile charging pad and a digital rearview mirror are available options.
An internal 90 kWh lithium-ion battery pack from CATL is what powers the LDV Mifa 9.
A single 241 hp and 350 Nm electric motor driving the front wheels receive power from the battery. According to LDV, the Mifa 9 has a maximum range of 440 km and typically uses 21.3–21.8 kWh per 100 km.
With an 11 kW charger, this battery can be charged in about 8.5 hours, or with a DC fast charger, it can be charged from 30% to 80% in 36 minutes.
All Mifa 9 versions come standard with a number of safety features. These include rear collision warning, speed assist system, ABS, ESP, and emergency braking assist, as well as blind spot detection, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane change assist, fatigue reminder and attention assist, full LED adaptive headlights with auto beam assist, and fatigue reminder and reminder assist.
It will be available in three trim levels: Mode, Executive, and Luxe. All models include a 5-year/200,000-kilometer warranty and an 8-year/200,000-kilometer battery warranty.
The LDV Mifa 9 starts at $106,000 for the Mode and rises to $117,000 for the Executive and $131,000 for the Luxe.
