The T6 plug-in hybrid SUV from Chery made its debut at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show as part of the brand-new Fengyun new energy vehicle series.
The Chinese MIIT had earlier on November 16 declared the Fengyun T6. The front face of the vehicle is different in the declared images. The vehicle that debuted had a closed front face, but the declared front face has a large matrix grille design with through-type headlights. The popular hidden door handles, blackened exterior mirrors, roof luggage racks, and thick five-petal-shaped rims are combined with the A, B, C, and D pillars that have been blackened to create a suspended roof design when viewed from the side. The Chery letter logo is integrated into the taillight of the Fengyun T6, which has a through-type taillight design.
The dimensions of the Fengyun T6 compact SUV are 1865 mm in width, 1670 mm in height, and 4540 mm in length with a 2672 mm wheelbase.
The Chinese MIIT had earlier on November 16 declared the Fengyun T6. The 1.5T turbocharged engine, which has a maximum power of 156 horsepower, a top speed of 180 km/h, and a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of 1.27L/100km, powers the plug-in hybrid powertrain. Furthermore, BYD's FinDreams Battery provides its lithium iron phosphate battery pack. As of yet, the battery pack's capacity is unknown.
