Chery Fulwin T11 Revealed As A Budget Range Rover

Author: |

Chery has unveiled new images of their upcoming flagship SUV, the Fulwin T11. The vehicle has garnered attention due to its striking resemblance to luxury models like the Range Rover. With its two-tone paint scheme, chrome accents, and imposing size, the T11 certainly makes a visual statement.

The T11's LED headlights and daytime running lights evoke the style of the Range Rover Sport. While there are clear similarities, Chery has managed to give their SUV a distinct identity. The faux grille design, featuring numerous vertical silver slats, adds a unique touch. The primary cooling appears to be handled by the lower grille, which is finished in gloss black and features slats that can open and close.

When viewed from the side, the T11 hints at design elements from both Range Rover models and the Mercedes-Maybach GLS. However, it avoids being a blatant copycat. The SUV's attractive, tightly-spoked wheels and satin silver finish on the upper half of the body create a sophisticated appearance. Chrome accents on the skirts and window frames further enhance its premium look.

At the rear, the T11 features sleek taillights connected by a light bar. The simple black lower bumper and lack of visible tailpipes contribute to its minimalist design.

Chery has announced that the T11 will be powered by their C-DM plug-in hybrid powertrain. This system combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with electric motors at both the front and rear. The engine produces 154 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. The T11 is expected to offer a combined range of over 1,400 kilometers, with the ability to travel approximately 200 kilometers on electric power alone.

The new Fulwin T11 is anticipated to make its official debut at the upcoming Chengdu Auto Show. With its impressive design, advanced technology, and competitive pricing, the T11 could become a popular choice for those seeking a luxurious SUV without the hefty price tag.
