Dacia Jogger Hybrid Announced Ahead Of Paris Motor Show

In a recent preview, Dacia included the off-road-focused Manifesto EV concept, a camper kit for the Jogger, and the updated model range with the new logo in its lineup for the 2022 Paris Motor Show.

The Jogger, Dacia's first electrified production model, will soon have a hybrid powertrain option using the Renault Group's parts supply, as promised from the time of its launch. The name "Hybrid 140" used by Dacia evidently alludes to the engine's 138 horsepower. The mild hybrid 1.3 TCe 140 petrol engine with a 12V system is comparable in power output.

The business gave no further details, but the mild hybrid option is the most secure bet because the Jogger would be too expensive by Dacia standards if it were equipped with Renault's more complex and advanced hybrid system.

Before coming on sale the following year, the Jogger Hybrid 140 will be displayed at the Paris Motor Show. The first deliveries are anticipated to begin in spring 2023, while the Romanian carmaker will begin collecting orders in early 2023.

Orders for the "Mat Edition" of the Duster will begin to be accepted by the end of 2022. Although Dacia has not yet released any images, it has stated that the vehicle will be identifiable by a unique body color and come equipped with all of the amenities.

Technically speaking, it will be equipped with the most potent 1.3-liter TCe 150 gasoline engine, rated at 148 horsepower, coupled with the EDC automatic transmission.
