Ford GT Alan Mann Heritage Edition Is On The Way, Teaser Revealed

Author: |

According to fresh teaser photographs released by Ford, the Ford GT Alan Mann Heritage Edition is on the way. The car's red, white, and gold paint scheme pays homage to one of the automaker's most cherished colleagues from the 1960s. In the 1960s, Alan Mann operated a racing team that had a lot of success in touring and sports car competitions. He worked on the original Ford GT development program and had a tight relationship with Ford. The team won the European Touring Car Championship in 1965 and finished second in the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964.

Alan Mann Racing's favorite color combo influenced the style. For aesthetic continuity, it's also likely to be on the roof. The body is crimson with white stripes on the outside.

The previous Ford GT Heritage Edition honored the prototype Ford GT from 1964. The Ford GT Alan Mann Heritage Edition is inspired by the team's lightweight, experimental 1966 GT 40 racing vehicles, which were developed to help Ford win the 24 Hours of Le Mans outright.

It's unclear if the current Ford GT Alan Mann Heritage Edition would include any lightweighting efforts, but it would be a worthy tribute to the car and, without a doubt, a pleasant change for buyers. The Heritage Edition models, on the other hand, haven't seen a lot of changes thus yet.

There's no word on when the Alan Mann Heritage Edition will be released. The fact that numerous teasers have been released implies that the reveal won't take long. It'll most likely be a limited-edition model with a minimal number of units available.
