The Photon Tunland F9 model 2019 that was released for the Chinese market is the same as the Photon Tunland G7 pickup track that was presented for the Russian market. In the past, Tunland attempted to establish a strong position in the Russian auto industry, but its sales were only mediocre. In response to the changing Russian market, the Chinese manufacturer has now unveiled an upgraded model.
The dimensions of the pickup truck are 1.94 meters broad, 1.87 meters high, 3.11 meters wide, and 5.34 meters long. The bar platform has 18-inch two-color wheels, daylight and LED taillights, and measures 4.4 by 1.58 by 1.52 meters.
Synthetic leather upholstery, keyless entry, heated front seats, ventilation control, a combined instrument panel with a seven-inch display, a multimedia system with a 10-inch diagonal touch screen, universal cameras, a park assistant, and tire pressure monitoring are among the cabin's features.
Front airbags, front collision warning, track control, pedestrian collision warning, blind spot monitoring, and driver tiredness monitoring are also standard on the pickup. The attaching and loading rings are situated on the cabin ceiling for easy cargo transfer.
The Tunland G7 all-wheel drive photon pickup truck is powered by a 2-liter diesel engine with 163 horsepower and 388 Newton meters of torque, as well as an 8-speed automated ZF transmission.
This type has independent binomial suspension in the front with telescopic hydraulic springs and a stabilizing rod, and a dependent sword spring in the back with telescopic hydraulic springs.
The JSC MB Rus dealership will begin selling the Tunland G7 photon in December 2023. The model will be available in three variants: basic, comfort, and premium. Their prices have yet to be revealed.
The photon Tunland G9 was recently introduced on the Russian market. The pickup truck, which resembles the previous generation Ford F-150, was imported to Russia for an initial price of 3.8 million rubles by the AutoSpetsTsentr group of firms.
