BMW introduced the third-generation of its BMW X6 M for 2021. The most powerful version that you can get from BWM is the X5 M Competition package that is a direct competitor to the Audi RSQ8 and the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63.
The BMW X6 M Competition uses a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine under the hood that can generate 616 hp and 750 nm of torque. This power can help the bid super SUV to hit 100 kph in less than 4 seconds but as it seems folks in G-Power are not amazed by these numbers so they decided to reveal their own version with enhanced power and torque figure.
G-Power customers can get the performance software upgrade with $3,010 that can increase the engine output to 690 hp and 850 Nm of torque that is 74 hp and 100 nm over the standard engine.
The full upgrade kit is also available which contains a $5,544 software upgrade, $47,179 turbocharger upgrade, new downpipes, and sports high-performance exhaust system. As a result, the X6 M Competition with a full G-Power kit has 789 hp and 950 Nm of torque. While there is no word about 0-100 acceleration but it is definitely can do it faster than any of its rivals with these output figures.
G-power also remaps the transmission software and increases the V-max so the car can hit 300 km/h of top speed. Other changes include lower ground clearance, exhaust sound optimization, and new 11×23-inch Hurricane-RR forged wheels with 315/25 high-performance tires. The same changes are available for BMW X5 M Competition as the two cars are the same underneath.
