Measuring 5353 mm in length, 1998 mm in width, and 1511 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3260 mm, the Hongqi Guoya offers consumers a choice between two powertrain options: a 3.0T plug-in hybrid system and a 4.0T plug-in hybrid system, both paired with an 8AT transmission. The 3.0T engine delivers a maximum power output of 394 hp, while the 4.0T engine boasts a maximum power output of 489 hp. Both powertrains are complemented by ternary lithium battery packs, although specific capacity and range details have yet to be officially disclosed by Hongqi.

Drawing inspiration from the L-Concept car design language, the Hongqi Guoya is available in both 4-seat and 5-seat configurations, featuring striking 19-inch or 20-inch rims. Its profile showcases a sleek silhouette with minimal ground clearance, accentuated by a white-red dual-color body and intricate spoke rims. The front fascia is characterized by a commanding straight waterfall grille adorned with chrome accents, while retro-style round headlights flank the grille, exuding a timeless charm. Notably, the Hongqi logo positioned at the center of the grille is retractable for added elegance.

The Guoya sets new standards in lighting technology with its utilization of DLP (digital light processing) technology in the headlights, optimizing illumination on the road and displaying clear symbols to enhance safety, including highlighting pedestrians and dimming road signs as needed.
