Author: |

The Hyundai Lafesta, a sedan available only in China that sits directly between the Elantra and the Sonata, is the newest model to be added to the N Line lineup. The Beijing-Hyundai joint venture will produce the Lafesta N Line in China.

The new, more aggressive body kit and conspicuous aero elements that give the 2017 Lafesta N Line its full-blown Hyundai N model appearance are the vehicle's most striking aesthetic aspects.

The Lafesta N Line has a redesigned grille that connects to the angular headlights with glossy black trim and LED DRLs in the shape of hexagons. A splitter that extends to the sides, a faux intake on the base of the bonnet, and much larger bumper intakes are also added.

Along with side-sill extensions, a new rear bumper with false outlets, a sizable ornamental diffuser with four exhaust pipes, and a quite showy rear wing mounted on the tailgate, the model also receives these additions. It should be noted that the Hyundai Lafesta N Line is only offered in the matte gray color shown here with gloss black accents.

The interior of the vehicle features a digital cockpit with two 10.25-inch screens, physical controls, and a revamped center tunnel with buttons and a wireless charging pad in place of a standard shifter. The N insignia on the flat-bottom steering wheel, the red stitching on the upholstery, and the Sport driving mode are features that are expected to remain exclusive to the N Line.

The Hyundai La Festa N Line is powered by a new 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that generates 197 horsepower.

Hyundai hasn't released the full specifications, so we don't know if the N Line will be faster than the Luxury Sport or if the suspension and steering wheel will be tuned differently like N Line vehicles from other markets.

Hyundai La Festa N Line Is Expected to go on sale by the next month.
