As a result of brake fluid leak, Kia and Hyundai are recalling near 600,000 cars in the US.
As national highway traffic safety administration noticed there's a possibility of brake fluid leak inside the hydraulic electronic control unit that puts the car in the risk of fire if a trigger or electrical short happens. The fire can also occur even when the engine is not working.
Models that are involved in this enormous recall are 2014 to 2015 Kia Sorento 2013 to 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe 2013 to 2015 Kia Optima and also 2006 to 2011 here night Hyundai Elantra and 2007 to 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring.
The company at the first step will inspect the hydraulic electronic control unit of the cars and if they find any brake fluid leak the hydraulic electronic control unit will be replaced by a new one.
