During Monterey Car Week in California, the 2023 Lamborghini Urus Performante was unveiled. The Urus Performante, which adopts the moniker used for more powerful variations of Lamborghini's Gallardo and Huracan supercars, provides more power, less weight, sharper handling, and a more aggressive appearance than the basic model.

The Urus Performante is defined by an aggressive front bumper and a ventilated carbon fiber hood. It was created to elevate the exceptional performance and distinctive styling of Lamborghini's groundbreaking Super SUV. The latter is offered in both fully painted and character-enhancing versions with visible carbon fiber.

As Lamborghini transitions to an all-hybrid model line by the end of 2024, the Lamborghini Urus Performante is also probably among the final pure petrol-powered Urus versions to be released.

Customers have the option to add a carbon fiber roof, front splitter, and black intakes, which give the vehicle an aggressive appearance and enhance engine cooling. The model received revised air curtains, carbon fiber wheel arches, and a bigger spoiler that contributes to a 38% boost in rear downforce.

A carbon fiber diffuser and rear bumper have been added to the crossover. An Akrapovi titanium sports exhaust system connects them.

A customized version of the Urus SUV's normal 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 657 horsepower and 850 Nm powers the Performante. The model can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reach a high speed of 306 km/h thanks to the boost of 16 horsepower.

Thanks to the extensive usage of carbon fiber, the performance gains are the consequence of not only the higher power but also sticker tyres and a weight reduction of 47 kg.

The Urus Performante boasts a retuned steering system, which adds to the tale beyond improved performance and lighter weight.

New steel springs that lower the Urus Performante variant by 20 mm are used to support the vehicle. The crossover has lightweight 22 or 23-inch wheels with titanium nuts and specially designed Pirelli P Zero tires, and the track also widens by 16 mm.

The 440mm 10-piston front and 370mm single-piston rear carbon-ceramic brakes from the basic Urus are used to provide stopping force.

The Performante's interior has been upgraded with a new hexagonal seat stitching pattern, Performante-specific fabric on the seats, doors, roof lining, and seat backrests, as well as a bewildering array of personalization choices through Lamborghini's Ad Personam program.

New Performante-specific graphics are added to the infotainment screen and instrument cluster. A number of upgrades will be available from Lamborghini, including the Dark Package, which turns various controls and switches matte black. In addition to Ad Personam options like matte carbon fiber trim and red door handles, customers can choose leather.

The Urus Performante has already proven itself as a result of all these modifications, setting a new record at Pikes Peak with a time of 10:32.064. This surpassed the earlier SUV benchmark of 10:49.95.
