The Morgan Plus Four, a beloved British sports car, is poised to make its long-awaited debut in the United States in early 2025. However, this iconic vehicle won't be readily available. Due to regulations, Morgan is limited to selling only 325 units per year in the US.
While the final pricing hasn't been announced, Hagerty estimates that the Plus Four will start around $74,500. Despite this premium price tag, the car's allure has already captured the hearts of many enthusiasts, with pre-orders for the first few hundred units already secured.
Buyers will receive a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine sourced from BMW. This powertrain delivers 255 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, propelling the Plus Four from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 5.2 seconds when paired with the six-speed manual transmission. An eight-speed automatic transmission is also available, increasing torque to 400 Nm and shaving the 0-100 kph time down to 4.8 seconds.
Beyond its impressive performance, the 2025 Plus Four boasts a host of updates designed to modernize and enhance its driving experience. These include new springs and dampers, as well as the option for a Dynamic Handling Pack featuring a rear anti-roll bar and a custom spring and damper setup from Nitron.
The new Morgan Plus Four represents a significant milestone for the British automaker, marking its return to the US market with a four-wheeled model since 2006. With its timeless design, exhilarating performance, and limited availability, the Plus Four is sure to appeal to discerning enthusiasts seeking a truly unique driving experience.
