The Exeed VX was introduced earlier this month at the 2023 Geneva Motor Show in Qatar. In China, Chery unveiled the six-seater Exeed Lanyue International Edition, another name for its new Exeed VX (Lanyue) SUV. The Exeed VX is an updated version of the Exeed Lanyue. Chery owns the brand Exeed.
Built upon the M3X Mars Architecture 2.0 is the Exeed VX. It had a wheelbase of 2900 mm and dimensions of 4970 mm by 1940 mm by 1792 mm.
A 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing up to 261 horsepower and 400 Nm of peak torque powers the vehicle. It is connected to an Aisin 8AT and has a sixth-generation four-wheel drive system from BorgWarner.
The front of the vehicle now features horizontal chrome bars in place of the present model's vertical ones, and the gold EXEED emblem has been replaced with a silver one. The windows have a chrome frame that is adorned from the side, along with standard door handles and roof racks. The vehicle also has densely spaced rims. The two-sided exhaust arrangement and through-type taillights are still present on the back.
Inside, blue and gold accents pop against the mostly black interior. An LCD instrument panel, a central control screen, and a co-pilot screen comprise the triple-screen, which is driven by Chery's Lion 5.0 operating system and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor.
Additional choices include a Bluetooth key with remote start capability, facial recognition, and two 50W wireless fast-charging pads in the center console. Simultaneously, the co-pilot seat has an extra legrest, while the front seats have heating, ventilation, massaging, and headrest speakers.
Three models overall, ranging in price from 228,900 to 238,900 yuan (31,300 to 33,000 USD), are available for selection by customers.
