One key difference between the G550 and G63 is the availability of the new Active Ride Control suspension on the G63. This hydraulic roll control system eliminates the need for traditional anti-roll bars, improving wheel articulation and handling both on and off the road.

While the G550 misses out on the Active Ride Control suspension, it does receive the "Offroad Cockpit" digital control layout and the "transparent hood" feature borrowed from the EQE SUV. The transparent hood function uses cameras located under the vehicle to provide the driver with a clear view of obstacles directly beneath the car, as if the hood were not there.

Off-Road Capabilities and Advanced Technologies

Mercedes has further enhanced the G-Class's off-road capabilities by integrating an "Off-Road Cockpit" function into the MBUX infotainment system.
