In conjunction with the Turbo S E-Hybrid flagship, Porsche has unveiled the 2025 Panamera GTS, which is crafted with a focus on "driver engagement and agility." The GTS boasts a V8 engine, devoid of any hybrid enhancements, emphasizing a pure driving experience. Crucially, this model features a bespoke chassis configuration and sporty aesthetic touches both inside and out.

The exterior of the GTS is adorned with black GTS emblems that harmonize with the Satin-Matt Black accents of the standard Sport Package and darker lighting units. The 21-inch center-lock wheels in Anthracite Grey, inherited from the Turbo S E-Hybrid, provide a striking contrast to the red brake calipers. Enhancing the visual appeal, the quad tailpipes of the standard sport exhaust system are finished in Dark Bronze.

Visually, the Turbo S E-Hybrid mirrors the Turbo E-Hybrid, with distinctions mainly in the rear bumper badging. Both models feature the same Turbo-specific body kit and 21-inch center-lock wheels. The unique Turbonite finish on the wheels, airblades, rear bumper strip, and interior accents and stitching sets the Turbo-badged Panameras apart from other models in the lineup.

The optional carbon fiber Aerokit, which includes a front splitter, airblades, side skirts, a gurney flap on the rear spoiler, and a rear diffuser, not only enhances the vehicle's aesthetics but also increases downforce by 60 kg at speeds of 200 km/h. This configuration was used on the car that achieved a Nürburgring lap time of 7:24.17, along with the optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid comes standard with Porsche Active Ride suspension, featuring an electrically-operated hydraulic pump for each shock absorber. This system includes rear-axle steering and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), with 440 mm discs at the front and 410 mm discs at the rear.

The standout feature of the GTS is its chassis upgrades, designed to enhance its road handling and driving pleasure without sacrificing ride comfort. These upgrades include a sportier calibration for the standard air suspension, lowered by 10 mm compared to the standard Panamera, reinforced anti-roll bars, and a lower basic spring rate. Additionally, the model is equipped with the electronically-controlled PTV Plus limited-slip differential.

Inside, Porsche has incorporated an ample amount of Race-Tex material, reflecting its motorsport heritage. The company offers two GTS-specific interior packages with Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo highlights, along with an optional Matte Carbon Fiber package at an additional cost.

The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine in the GTS is slightly detuned compared to the hybrid models, producing 493 hp. However, this represents a 20 hp increase over the previous GTS model. Porsche claims that the new Panamera GTS can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 303 km/h. Furthermore, the standard sport exhaust system enhances the auditory experience.

The 2025 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid features a plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 591 hp with a single electric motor generating 187 hp. This setup is integrated into a significantly improved eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK), delivering a combined output of 771 hp and 999 Nm of torque, surpassing its predecessor by 81 hp and 130 Nm. Notably, this power output exceeds that of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid and matches the new Bentley Continental GT Speed.

The significant power boost enables the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 325 km/h. These performance figures represent improvements of 0.2 seconds in acceleration and 13 km/h in top speed compared to the previous generation's equivalent trim.

Like the other E-Hybrid trims of the Panamera, the Turbo S benefits from a larger 25.9 kWh battery pack. This enhances its all-electric range and fast-charging capabilities, although Porsche has not yet released the EPA estimates.

This makes it significantly less expensive than the electrified Turbo E-Hybrid and Turbo S E-Hybrid models. The 2025 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is also available for ordering and is expected to arrive at US dealerships in late Q1 2025.
