SAIC Roewe released official photos of its latest car called the Ei5. The new Roewe Ei5 has a new design that can attract many buyers. It also follows the same design language as Roewe ER6 and Marvel R.
Its main design elements are a closed grille, Roewe lettering on the front, and new headlamps with a sharp design. The new Chinese family car has a more conventional design on the side where there is nothing special but it looks nice with its alloy wheels. At the rear changes are minor compared to the previous model while there are only new taillights with blackened graphics and some other minor changes.
Inside the cabin, SAIC motor redesigned the interior. There is a new center console with a simple but modern design. There are two screens, one on the center console and the other is in front of the driver as a digital instrument cluster. Other highlights are electronic switchgear, leather interior, and multi-function steering wheel.
The Roewe Ei5 uses the same powertrain as the current model. The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine can produce 181 hp and 280 nm of torque. NEDC announced the driving range of 501 kilometers for Roewe Ei5. It is one of the best family cars you can find in the Chinese market.
