The third-generation VelociRaptor 66, which is based on the current Ford F-150 Raptor, was unveiled by Hennessey. The six-first wheeler's units, according to the Texas-based tuner, were delivered early this month. The conversion adds a third set of wheels and an enlarged rear bed in addition to a number of chassis improvements that increase its versatility in any terrain.
The twin locking rear axles of the truck was given Fox suspension by Hennessey, along with a three-inch raise kit. This results in a huge ground clearance when combined with the 20-inch wheels mounted on 37-inch off-road rubber.
In comparison to the original model's 1.67 m, the bed is 2.4 m long and can support 45 percent more volume.
The Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 only generates 558 horsepower and 911 Nm of torque, as opposed to the 600-hp, two-axle VelociRaptor. Even though it has fewer wheels and more torque than the VelociRaptor, it still outperforms the regular Raptor's 450 horsepower and 692 Nm. However, it falls far short of the rival Mammoth 66 TRX's 1,012 horsepower.
A complete vehicle costs $399,950, which includes the donor car. That sum includes a thorough 3-year/36,000-mile warranty in addition to all the enhancements that you can see below.
