Ford has introduced updated pricing for its 2024 F-150 Lightning lineup, with reductions applied to three out of the four available trims, notably offering the most substantial discount of $5,500 on the extended-range Flash trim.
The entry-level XLT now presents a starting price of $65,090, reflecting a $2,000 decrease from its previous cost. Similarly, the new Flash trim is now available from $70,090, down from its previous $75,590. Ford has also adjusted the pricing for the Lariat trim, reducing it by $2,200 to start at $79,090. Meanwhile, the price for the top-tier Platinum trim remains steady at $87,090, with all prices inclusive of the $2,095 destination charge.
These price adjustments coincide with Ford's enhancements to the F-150 Lightning, which include the implementation of a new Vapor Injection Pump System designed to optimize energy consumption. Additionally, modifications to the charging speed display in the instrument cluster have been made.
Furthermore, Ford has upgraded the standard features for the XLT trim and above, now including Smart Hitch and On-Board Scales, a 360-degree camera, trailer backup assist, and trailer hitch assist, all of which were previously part of the Tow Technology Package. Additionally, an optional Max Trailer Tow Package is available for the XLT, Flash, and Lariat trims for an extra $1,100, while it comes as a standard feature in the Platinum trim. Furthermore, customers can opt for the newly available Black Package exclusive to the Platinum trim, priced at $8,000, starting May.
In terms of range, the Flash and Lariat trims lead the lineup, offering up to 320 miles on a single charge, while the Platinum provides a range of 300 miles, and the XLT boasts a range of 240 miles. Other updates to the F-150 Lightning include the ability to utilize the Pro Power OnBoard system even when the pickup is turned off, as well as the introduction of a new Walk Away lock function. Additionally, Ford BlueCruise is now available on select trims.
