Nissan has announced pricing and specifications for the 2021 Nissan Altima sedan.
The 2021 Nissan Altima S pricing starts from $24,300. Changes for the 2021 facelifted model include Driver Assist Package, SV Premium Package, a moonroof, heated front seats and Intelligent Lane Intervention.
Under the hood, the base model Altima uses a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with 188 hp and 244 nm of torque. The engine is connected to a CVT automatic transmission as standard and the power transferred to the front wheels but buyers can opt for the Intelligent AWD system as an option on SV, SR, and SL grades and as standard on the Platinum model.
Buyers who are looking for a more powerful variant can go for the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that pumps out 236 hp and 320 nm of torque. While the 2.0-liter force-inducted engine is more powerful it is not available with the AWD system.
Safety equipment for the 2021 Nissan Altima includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, ProPilot Assist, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Intelligent Driver Alertness, Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite, pedestrian detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, radar-based Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and High Beam Assist.
