For the 2022 model year, Ram has released an upgraded version of the ProMaster van. The 2022 ProMaster will be offered in 18 distinct variants, with two different roof heights, three different wheelbases, and four different vehicle lengths.

In addition, a new Crew Van option with polycarbonate rear windows, a built-in safety divider, and a second-row bench seat is available.

Inside, the van gets a redesigned steering wheel, a Uconnect 5 infotainment system with a 7- or 10-inch display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, Alexa In-Vehicle Assistant, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, TomTom navigation, and a reworked instrument cluster with a 3.5- or 7-inch display.

The engine is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that generates 280 horsepower and 353 Nm of torque. While the power remains unchanged from last year's model, the engine is now mated to a new nine-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the old six-speed one.

The Ram ProMaster 2022 now boasts a new electric rack-and-pinion power steering system. It contributes to lower maintenance costs, increased fuel efficiency, and a best-in-class turning diameter of 11 meters. The van also has the best payload capacity in its class of 2,123 kg and a towing capability of up to 3,134 kg.
