The iconic Toyota LandCruiser Prado is getting even tougher thanks to a new range of off-road accessories from renowned Japanese specialist, JAOS. This partnership between Toyota and JAOS aims to enhance the Prado's rugged capabilities and stylish appeal.
Established in 1985, JAOS has collaborated with Toyota and its luxury branch, Lexus, to bring distinctive enhancements to off-road vehicles. As the latest Prado model gears up for its debut in Australian markets by the end of 2024, it has quickly attracted the attention of prominent aftermarket brands. Companies such as Australia’s ARB, Japan’s Wald, and Toyota’s in-house customization division, Modellista, have all contributed to the list of accessories available, adding a unique range of stylistic and functional parts for the SUV.
JAOS's range of accessories caters to both subtle and bold modifications. For those seeking a more understated look, there are options like door handle and fuel flap protectors, as well as mudflaps adorned with the iconic JAOS kangaroo logo.
For those who crave a more aggressive off-road appearance, JAOS offers a matte front bumper guard that adds 40mm to the Prado's length and integrates four LED lights. This bumper can be further enhanced with optional front skid bars, available in a variety of colors. To provide additional underbody protection, JAOS has also introduced a 2.5mm thick stainless steel front skid plate.
To widen the Prado's stance, JAOS offers fender garnishes that add 20mm to the wheel arches. Black tubular side steps can be added for a more aggressive look and easier entry and exit.
For the rear of the vehicle, JAOS has designed a 2.5mm thick stainless steel rear skid plate that can be fitted even with a genuine Toyota tow bar.
Completing the off-road package is a set of 18-inch Tribe Cross 10-spoke cast alloy wheels, available in Matte Gunmetal or Titanium Gold finishes. These wheels are the result of a collaboration with renowned Japanese wheel manufacturer, Enkei.
With these new accessories from JAOS, the 2025 Toyota LandCruiser Prado is poised to become an even more formidable off-road vehicle, ready to conquer any terrain.
