When the Chrysler 300C was revived in 2005 with rear-wheel drive, a HEMI V8, and an upmarket look, it embodied cool. But because the 300 range will be discontinued in 2023, it will only be available for a single year.
Starting from the engine compartment, the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 makes a triumphant comeback, packing 485 horsepower and 644 Nm of torque. That represents a significant improvement over the 5.7-liter HEMI V8, which produces 363 horsepower and 534 Nm of torque, respectively.
It has an eight-speed automatic transmission that uses a limited-slip differential to drive the rear wheels. It has a 160 millisecond gear change time. In 4.3 seconds, the new 300C reaches 96 kph. The quarter mile is completed in 12.4 seconds. It can go as fast as 278 kph.
The gases leave the exhaust through a pair of black, round points, and the sound that it makes can be altered. The four-piston Brembo brakes with red calipers are responsible for stopping the vehicle. Active dampers for the suspension are another impressive technical feature.
Chrysler isn't meddling with success because the 300's design has lasted the test of time and the high-performance model has a rather understated exterior. There are a few obvious indicators, such as a tri-color 300C insignia on the grille. Rear spoiler, 20-inch forged wheels, and all-season performance tires complete the ensemble. Other features include dimmed lighting units, trim made of black chrome, and a limited color scheme that consists of Gloss Black, Velvet Red, and Bright White.
Silver stitching is used on the Black Laguna leather upholstery in the interior. The front seats have the 300C logo imprinted on them. The interior has a sporty flair thanks to piano-black trim and carbon fiber accents. The car has heated and cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a Harman Kardon 19-speaker radio.
It has Advanced Brake Assist, Lane Departure Warning Plus, and Full Speed Collision Warning Plus on the active safety side.
Chrysler caps the manufacture of the 300C at 2,000 vehicles for the US and 200 units for Canada. Prior to destination fees, prices in the US start at $55,000. The business is currently accepting reservations for them online.
