The Toyota Sequoia is back for the 2025 model year with a fresh update and a new trim level: the 1794 Edition. This luxurious addition to the Sequoia lineup, inspired by the historic 1794 ranch in Texas, has been eagerly anticipated by fans of the brand.
The 2025 Sequoia 1794 Edition is a full-size, body-on-frame SUV that exudes elegance and sophistication. Priced at $80,135, it sits just below the range-topping Capstone model. This luxurious trim boasts a striking exterior with ample chrome accents, 20-inch wheels, and a panoramic sunroof.
One of the most notable features of the 1794 Edition is the innovative Wi-Fi trailer camera. This rechargeable wireless camera can be easily attached to your trailer and seamlessly streams a live view to the vehicle's digital rearview mirror or infotainment system. This technology significantly enhances towing safety and convenience.
Inside, the 1794 Edition pampers occupants with brown leather seats that offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The second-row captain's chairs provide added comfort, while American walnut wood trim adds a touch of luxury. The cabin is further enhanced by special floor mats, a premium JBL audio system, and a 14-inch infotainment system.
Beyond the new 1794 Edition, the 2025 Sequoia receives several other updates. A new Mudbath paint color is exclusively available for the TRD Pro model, adding a rugged and adventurous touch. Additionally, massaging seats are now standard on the 1794, Platinum, and Capstone trims, elevating the comfort and luxury experience.
Under the hood, the 2025 Sequoia continues to be powered by the potent i-Force Max hybrid powertrain. This system combines a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. This powerful engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, providing smooth and efficient performance.
While the 2025 Sequoia offers enhanced features and a more luxurious experience, it comes with a price increase. The base model now starts at $62,175, a significant jump from last year's price. The price hikes are even more substantial for higher trims, with the Capstone model seeing a $5,400 increase to $83,665.
