The first sedan in the all-electric Galaxy E-series from Geely, the Galaxy E8, was launched, and its starting price is predicted to be more than 200,000 yuan (27,300 USD).

The Galaxy E8, which was constructed using Geely's SEA platform, has dimensions of 5010/1920/1465 mm, a wheelbase of 2925 mm, and a curb weight of 2,030 kg. Customers can select from rims that are either 18 or 19 inches in diameter. It has a drag coefficient of only 0.199Cd. Moreover, a 200 kW electric motor and a 62 kWh/76 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack are anticipated to provide power, giving the vehicle a cruising range of 550 km and 665 km, respectively.

The design of the closed grille features a trapezoidal bottom grille, sharply separated headlamps on both sides, and dot matrix structures, which are more noticeable in the light.

The front and rear overhangs of the Galaxy E8 are small, giving it a fastback style. In contrast to the silver outer body in the officially disclosed photographs revealed earlier, more youthful hues such as pink and yellow were shown. There are also prominent design features like concealed door knobs and frameless doors.

The 45-inch 8K screen, which stretches from the driver to the co-pilot and has an effective display area of 1130 x 138 mm and a thickness of 9.8 mm, is depicted in the official interior shot. The cockpit is anticipated to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 CPU.

The steering wheel's semi-flat bottom is the other striking feature. It appears that new Chinese electric cars are starting to use this style of steering wheel more frequently. Everything about the surveillance photos from inside seemed official, with the exception of the steering wheel. On the center console, there's another rotary knob.

When it launches, the Galaxy E8 will go up against vehicles like the BYD Han EV.
