We all know Mat Watson from Carwow with his famous drag races. His recent effort for drag race is to put a two German luxury sedans which seem not to be ever build for this purpose, but both uses V12 engines and that sounds good for drag race, the Maybach62 and BMW 760Li !
Maybach 62 is the largest and the most luxurious product of Mercedes during 2000s. The limousine is weights around 2.8 tons but under the hood there is a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V12 power plant with 551 hp and 900 nm of torque.
On the other hand we have the BMW 760Li with a 6.0-liter twin turbo V12. while the bimmer has a bigger engine but bigger always doesn't mean better, because the Bavarian engine can pump out 545 hp and 700 NM of torque. Both cars use conventional automatic transmissions, transferring power to the rear wheels.
What do you think about the result? Can a BMW beat the Maybach 62 with its lighter weight or the more powerful engine will catch the crown for Mercedes? Check the video below and comment.
