Lexus has collaborated with two well-known racing drivers to create a pair of customized IS cars for the SEMA Show this year. Townsend Bell and Hiraku Co. are the two reacers in question.
The IS 500 is built by Townsend Bell and Hiraku Co. For street performance. Scott Pruett and Dsport Magazine transform an IS 350 into a track vehicle.
A unique 3d pointed body kit for the IS 500 by Hiraku and Townsend Bell comprises a new front lip spoiler, bumper canards, front fenders, side sills, top spoiler, rear diffuser, and rear bumper trim.
It is equipped with Rotiform 20-inch wheels. On the exterior of the wheels is an aerodynamic disk.
Upgrades to the show's performance are also being examined. A redesigned intake, adjustable coilover suspension, Brembo GT brakes, more chassis bracing, and exhaust with titanium tips are among the technical upgrades.
The IS 350 from Dsport Publication and Scott Pruett is still unfinished, but the magazine plans to document its further development. It still has the factory 311 horsepower 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6, but when the modification is done, the goal is to more than quadruple the output.
Custom-built KW Variant 3 coilovers and carbon-ceramic brakes from the Lexus RC F Track Edition are among the performance upgrades. It has a blue and orange body wrap that draws influence from Pruett's helmet painting. A body kit from Artisan Spirits is also available. The parts add 30 mm to the front and 50 mm to the back of the fenders.
A four-point roll bar is installed on the inside, and the driver sits in a carbon and Kevlar racing seat with a five-point harness. A four-point roll bar is installed inside the cabin, and the driver sits in a carbon and Kevlar racing seat with a five-point harness.
