By the 40th anniversary of Nissan Maxima, company announced a new tag for the unchanged sedan in up coming year. The 2021 Nissan Maxima is about $340 more expensive than the 2020 model. On the other hand, in 2021 Nissan has no plans for entry-level S model to choose from. So, by these estimations you should spend at least $36,990 for the new Maxima.
For eliminating the Maxima S model, firm didn’t explain anything. As far as we know, this model, this model met the standards well. Its powertrain consists of a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 300-hp output. The driver-assist and safety system also did well under the regulations. Of course, the named items are already existing in every 2021 Maximas. Moreover, the Safety Shield 360 is added. By this option some facilities like automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and lane-departure warning are employed. But if intelligent cruise control is needed, some dollars is added to your bill.
By omitting the SL trim, customers have the option among SV, SR, and Platinum. All the models vary in the costs. The SR model next year will cost at least $42,150, that means $500 more expensive. The Platinum trim is just $380 more expensive. The buyers should spend $42,220 on this Nissan next year. Although the tags are higher, the firm didn’t identify the reasons or the equipment which are newly added or improved.
It is also Maxima’s 40th birthday, but again surprisingly Nissan added another $2,125 to the price for the Platinum Edition Package. In this package, your car will have a two-tone Ruby Slate Gray Pearl exterior finish with a black roof, a plethora of black trim that includes exhaust finishers and wheels, and the requisite 40th Anniversary badging. Also, inside the car the sight of 40th Anniversary are noticeable too. The seats have Red leather with contrast stitching, white-faced gauges, dark chrome trim, heated rear seats.
As company claimed, the 2021 models which include the 40th Anniversary Edition package too, is already at dealerships. It is noteworthy that another $925 will be added to the bill for destination and handling.
