BMW has unveiled 'Frozen Edition' variants of its X3 and X4 M40i performance SUVs, each with a limited production run.
Carbon-fiber mirror caps, painted red brake calipers, sun protection glazing, gloss black kidney grilles, and a carbon-fiber spoiler is among the features available to customers.
Carbon-fiber accents and black leather upholstery with red stitching are standard within the cabin, as are 'M' badged seat belts.
A 3.0-liter single-turbo inline-six petrol engine with 382 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque is found under the hood. An eight-speed automatic transmission distributes the power to all four wheels.
On the way to an electronically-limited top speed of 250km/h, the 0-100km/h sprint is said to take 4.8 seconds.
Gloss black kidney grille, Carbon-fibre mirror caps, Carbon-fibre rear boot lid spoiler (X4 M40i Frozen Edition only), M Sport brakes in high-gloss red, Sun protection glazing, Black Vernasca leather upholstery with red stitching, 'M' seat belts with BMW M tri-colour stitching, Carbon-fibre interior trim are some of the other highlights for the 2022 BMW X3 and X4 M40i Frozen Edition.
The X3 starts at $142,900 drive-away, with BMW Individual matte gray paint and a few extra amenities. The X4 coupe is priced at $152,900.
For comparison, the basic M40i vehicles cost $115,900 and $123,900, respectively, before on-road expenditures.
According to BMW, Frozen Edition models of the X3 and X4 will be brought to Australia in 17 and 20 instances, respectively.
